"Parking was a small area, but we did manage to find a space. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good but we had to wait quite a long time to be served. The bedroom was lovely, very spacious, bed super comfy. Disappointed with bathroom very limited space, tiny sink. "

"disabled parking 2 very small spaces in an enclosed courtyard quite tight .hot tub was out of order. lots of steps as well as the mentioned creaky wooden stairs. check-in is right opposite the swimming pool entrance in the same aera as club entrance so wet & slippy floor and crowded blocking access. room was drab and dated empty for the size .noise level of neighbours and any movement in hallway echoed. bed was very uncomfortable lumpy. shower didn't drain and overflowed. wooden toilet seat that pushed flush button when seated."

"We stayed at the Bear Inn on 14th March 2026 for 2 nights. It is a very welcoming place. The atmosphere is very comforting and relaxed with helpul and friendly staff always willing to chat. In particular Hilary and Bayleigh were lovely and made our wedding anniversary special."
