"Good experience. Only gripes. 1) Main meal option not available and we were sitting at 715pm so not that late. 2) Being in a room beside the road there was early noise from Bin collections.Could benefit from Double glazing to minimise some traffic noise during the day.Little at night.May be a issue as a listed builsing ? Overall minor gripes."

"Gorgeous family room, such an accommodating establishment! So clean, great food, lovely helpful staff especially the lovely gentleman that checked us in and showed us our family room. Amazing stay for us, our children and our 2 dogs! Will definitely be returning! Thank you all. Room was exactly as photos showed which is a rarity!"

"Great place to stay, the staff were all very kind and helpful. The food was excellent and was served fairly quickly. Good choice of drinks at the bar. The room was a little bit tired and it could be a bit noisy outside occasionally but bear in mind that the property is located on the highstreet. Would definitely recommend."

"The single room was fine and reasonable value (the doors do shut loudly). The staff were all very friendly, helpful and impressive (excepting one rather sour lady behind the bar!). They were very polite and kind, it makes a big difference to how you feel about a hotel. The food was really good and not expensive, excellent value. The drinks selection was extensive. There's plenty of outside seating. All in all, I definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay there again."
