"Great hotel with excellent views. The location is very chill, there is not much to do in the town. You would have to go to Fira or Oia if you want more things to do and see. Other than that, it is a very nice romantic getaway"

"Breathtaking views, gorgeous property layout, very helpful staff overall, excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner, but disappointed that you couldn’t order anything like a coffee in the morning before breakfast at 8am, and the one and only poolside restaurant/closed at 7pm, with the breathtaking sunsets at 8:30, there was no food or drink to be able to enjoy except at the one sit down restaurant, which was excellent but at least one other option and the ability to order from a bar from 7pm at such a high end property was very surprising. And when there was a wedding or big private party which happened often, service and availability of drinks, etc at the one restaurant was limited. For such an exquisite location this was disappointing, there should also be more options also for using the pools would be appreciated especially given the cost to stay at the report and being able to enjoy the pools. Finally, although the cleaning staff was very helpful and nice, the floors never felt clean, and our room smelt like fresh paint our full week’s stay, as well, basic things like hooks on back of shower room doors, properly draining showers, again considering the cost this was surprising, if it weren’t for the amazing location and out of this world caldera view we would have been very disappointed but but we come for the view and experience outside"

"Stayed 28th June - 4th July 2026. For our 25year silver wedding anniversary. Wine and flowers were in our cave on arrival which was a fabulous and welcoming surprise. Accommodation was lovely, kept very clean and views were stunning. For our last 2 nights we had booked the honeymoon suite and WOW is the only words that can be used to describe this one. Breakfast is delivered to your room every morning and you can eat outside whilst looking at the stunning views. The manager of the complex “Vera” we cannot give enough credit to. An absolute angel. Nothing was too much trouble, she continuously bent over backwards insuring everything was just right for us and did the same for every single guest that arrived. She does not stop from dawn till dusk! Absolutely fabulous and such a lovely lady. We will definitely be returning. Thank you. ❤️"
