Emma was an amazing host. The property was clean, the host was welcoming, and the breakfast was superb with a variety of fresh fruits and muffins to go with your main dish. (Definitely say yes to the porridge!!) Be aware, the property is not near any shops or... anything at all, really. It’s a proper country house surrounded by beautiful nature (and right in front of a bus stop) so if you want to eat out or get groceries you’ll have to plan for it as the closest store is 4-5 miles away. Great property. It is a remote location that is a bit of a drive to get to. It would be great (imho) for stays consisting of at least several days or longer. One suggestion for the property is to add a mirror over the bathroom sink. The mirror on the opposite wall isn’t as practical. Beautiful views and we enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, beautiful accommodations, comfortable and well appointed rooms,very comfortable bed, spacious rooms, welcome bottle of wine , delicious food nicely presented, stunning scenery, close parking, we were treated like royalty!!!

Incredible level of impeccable luxury personalized svc frm both day and night managers as well as dining staff at their delicious gourmet restaurant. The worlds greatest shower with its awesome thick waterfall of your-choice relaxing temp water. This place was very special (and we've done some travelling in our time)!

This little cottage was so cute. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a few days. It was within walking distance to a convenient store that had plenty of food options. Close enough to isle of Skye for some day trips!

Loved everything about Shieldaig. Managers, bar tenders, David at the Falconry. Top notch individuals who truly made our stay special. They were Sincere, dedicated and knowledgeable from falconry to fine whiskeys!!!! Cant say enough. Hope to return!!!!

Kind staff

Our stay at Eriska was wonderful and full of good memories. The staff were very professional and attentive. We spent one day walking around the entire island - it was not strenuous and took approximately 3 hours and that included lots of breaks to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The food at Eriska was top notch from the lovely breakfasts to the multi course dinners. We stayed in the Skye room which is on the first floor. It was a spacious room with a sofa and fireplace.

Excellent location. My girlfriend and I were convinced that we were at the best hotel in Oban. 2 minutes walk could have you at the wetherspoons by the waterfront among other fantastic restaurants. There were also two restaurants on site very nice and clean. The only minor nitpick were some dirty spots on the bathroom wall and a weird looking soiled paper towel or something in the nightstand drawer. It wasn’t a very big deal and I was able to overlook this since everything seemed to go off...

Brilliant stay in lovely 2 bedroom Luxury Apartment with sauna looking onto the marina. We had fun in the spa and enjoyed delicious food and cocktails in the restaurant. Staff in restaurant and reception were all superb. Thanks Jamie and gentlemen back from Texas for looking after us so well. A terrific, memorable mums and daughters trip.
