"The breakfast is great and the staff is very supportive. I had to catch my flight early in the am and one of the staff actually came downstairs with me to help locate my cab. I thought that was very sweet of them. The rooms are super comfy and cozy. Love the location as you are right by Waverley and you can walk down to the Scott memorial and access Old Town just a hop, skip and jump away! "

"Hot breakfast was really good. The cold items were not replenished so that was disappointing. Our check-in was problematic as I couldn’t find a Premier Inn booking reference on the confirmation email so checking in at the electronic kiosk wasn’t working. There was someone standing at reception (not a permanent reception desk) who was not initially welcoming or helpful (I.e., rude). Ultimately he checked the email and agreed no booking reference was visible and only then agreed to take my name...

"The room was surprisingly comfortable and had everything you need. When we checked in, Tom was absolutely amazing. Friendly and welcoming. (Tom, if you ever visit Canada, please remember to go to Banff, Lake Louise, the Rockies, but also New Brunswick/ Nova Scotia; thank you for everything!) Our room had a view of the castle which was such a great add to an amazing stay. We are on our 40th wedding anniversary and it was just perfect! "

"The location is excellent; it's within walking distance of the bus stop, tram stop, shopping mall, and Scott Monument. There's a Tesco supermarket 50 meters away. The Wi-Fi is very good. The only thing is that the walls in the rooms need painting. The TV in the room doesn't have international channels; it would be great if they changed that."
