"The room was small, but this is expected for a room in Tokyo at this price. The bummer about this place is the air conditioning. It is central and in March it is set for heat. Therefore, the room was very warm and stuffy. I was able to crack open the window and that cooled the room down. The water pressure is amazing. One of the best showers I have ever taken. The outdoor soa area on the top floor is also really nice. I would only ask that they address the air-conditioning situation. One last positive note, the location is outstanding. There is a fantastic yakitori place on the corner. Ueno is a great place to stay when visiting Tokyo. "

"The highlight of the Asakusa View hotel is the actual “omotenashi” experience. They offer the highest level of Japanese hospitality which I find missing in so many properties these days. It’s as though each and every staff member is the owner of the property snd takes such pride in “being of service” offering you the best experience. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel in Tokyo! We were traveling as a family of 8 (ages 9 to 80), and it was incredibly family-friendly and comfortable for all of us. We booked two rooms, and both were surprisingly spacious—something that’s really hard to find in Tokyo. Each room had a small kitchen, dining table, and four well-oriented, comfortable beds, which made a huge difference for our group. There is a public laundry area in the hotel, which was very convenient. Washing costs around 500 yen, and drying is about 300–400 yen, which worked out really well for our longer stay. The onsen on the top floor was amazing—a true lifesaver for our legs after long days of walking. The location is excellent—about a 5-minute walk to the Yamanote Line, with lots of restaurants nearby, a Lawson convenience store, and only an 8-minute walk to Ameyoko Street. The paid breakfast was decent—while the selection wasn’t huge, it had enough variety and was satisfying for our family. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They assisted us with a booking mistake (we accidentally missed a night) and also helped arrange our luggage transfer smoothly. Overall, a fantastic, family-friendly stay—we would definitely come back again!"

"I enjoyed my stay at the b Asakusa. The breakfast buffet was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. The donuts in the lobby at night were fantastic. Get there early because they go fast! The hotel is located on a Main Street close to everything! I loved the location. It was literally steps away from the Ginza train line and the Tsuba station. Tip: Visit the samurai Ninja Museum and the Asakusa Sumo Club Annex. Both attractions are literally less than five minutes away on the same street!"
