"Our stay was lovely the room was small but adequate and the views as per the description were amazing. Staff at breakfast were lovely and the food was great. Only feedback I would like to provide is improved instructions to the car parking space - suggestion would be to add I-scream as a landmark as to were to turn onto the marina - “black railings” is not clear especially as the drive into the space looks pedestrian (this should also be mentioned). "Room was small but very tidy, it had everything we needed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but ok for one night. The view was amazing, high over other houses the countryside stretched for miles. Don’t book if you don’t like heights. Unfortunately there was something making a noise all night (heating, A/C, water) I don’t know what but it sounded like a heart beat all night long and kept me awake. "The Torcroft was a great place to stay in Torquay. The hosts, Gary and Philip were friendly and professional and could not have done more to make my stay great. They were full of helpful hints on places to go whilst staying in Torquay. The breakfast was lovely and always freshly cooked to order. The bedrooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. I'd definitely recommend a stay here. "

"The place is under new management who offered a warm welcome, a clean room, done up the place as best they could. The place still has a few issues from being taken over eg shower not draining well and a new mattress due but the new team are trying hard to make a go of it and are trying to make good."
