"The flat was very clean apart from the couch which let it down as it was badly stained, a good clean and I would have given it top marks. It was nice to have free netflix and amazon prime which was an added bonus. Beds were very comfy with good mattresses and bedding. "Very good location for the University and exploring the West End. Easy access to city centre. Easy walk to Kelvin park and Botanical gardens. Very nice flat, spacious for 2 people, maybe a bit tight if four people were staying (but definitely possible). Quiet neighbourhood. The flat is well equipped. "Despite the cute furnishings and perfect location, this property has not been maintained. Walls desperately need repainting and are marred throughout, both toilet seats were broken and sliding off the commodes, the kitchen sink drain leaks making cleaning up after cooking impossible. I notified the hosts who didn’t respond other than to say they’d be painting in between renters"

"Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd."

"This is probably the most spacious rental we have ever had. The unit was very well equipped with amenities and with a large Living Room, a large bathroom, large kitchen, and a large bedroom with a king bed. Everything was exceptionally clean and well attended to. It wasn’t the most picturesque location, but the nice thing was that is only a few hundred feet from a Subway station which we used every day.
