"Check-in was very accommodating as we arrived early. They allowed is to drop off our luggage a d then gave us a room key in case we were late getting back to the hotel after touring. The room was nice. Weird “showering” in a bathtub. There was an elevator there unlike one I’ve seen or used before (see photo.) Reception was a little late for our check out but we were still in time for our train. "

"I had an amazing stay here in Normandy. Nadine was a lovely, kind, host. She prepared and served a lovely breakfast to guests in the dining room each morning. It was like staying in a charming stone farmhouse with modern amenities. It is an absolutely stunning location and super convenient for travelling to Mont St Michel if you have rented a car. "Nous avons passé une nuit au château de Chantore, la chambre était magnifiquement décorée, et très spacieuse. Le château est restauré avec soin, en respectant les couleurs et les décorations de l’époque. L’accueil est très chaleureux et les propriétaires ont à coeur de transmettre leur passion pour ce lieu. Le château bénéficie d’une jolie vue sur le mont saint michel et est au coeur d’un immense jardin très bien entretenu. Une promenade y est aménagée avec deux circuits de longueur différente...

"Beautiful old manor, impressive entry to the property. In need of cleaning and extensive maintenance. Beautiful grounds, lots of greenery and extremely lush. Room was very small, but worked. No air conditioning, had to open windows but no screens. Must carry your bags up a very narrow spiral staircase. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, food presentation was excellent. Overall would recommend and would stay again, but would love to see the owners do some overall repairs."

"Overall a good stay at the Relais. We chose this hotel because we wanted to view Mont Saint Michel from our room. The view did not disappoint. The hotel does seem dated but we were told they were in the middle of renovations. We also arrived an hour early and they did not allow us to check in early. The hotel is located right next to a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel which was convenient. "
