Also, the hotel wanted to charge an additional $15 a day for the swimming pool, $15 for beach chairs and umbrellas, $7 for a cup of coffee at breakfast (breakfast was included in room charge but only came with a small cup of tea and a humble plate of food, all extra was to be paid for separately). Towels had to be requested repeatedly; there was no hair dryer, nor shelving of any sort to place necessities. The shower did not have a curtain, so the bathroom was all wet after bathing. Bedroom curtains were ripped off at the top and could not be closed properly. The hotel advertised barbeque equipment, but you have to purchase it, as well as the coals, etc to cook... The location was gorgeous, but the accomodation - very poor. "
"Pool was awesome!! Great food and stores close by. Free shuttle wonderful, drivers are very nice. Room very clean and spacious. A/C works great. Wish we could keep power on in room for fridge (door key also used to turn power) staff is amazing!! I had originally planned to stay 1 night but we extended it to 3 nights.
Just flew back from Izmir and booked 2 more nights. Feels like home. "
