Cozy Surf Ranchita with Unique Character, Hot Tub & Sauna

"This was our 3rd August on the central coast of California and as usual it was cool. We are from Texas.This house was the most unique and interesting. It is a bit of a drive from anywhere and the driveway can be difficult to spot but if you pay attention to the directions it's not a problem.The bedroom and 2 baths were just great, every thing you could possibly need or want. Showers were great and the heated floor a real treat.Kitchen had everything with Keurig and kettle for my tea. The water filter was great and water was delicious.It did take me a while to figure out the Roku TV but finally was able to watch what we wanted, directions would have been helpful as not everyone has a set up like that.We loved taking the "back way" into Morro Bay, so pretty.The road and 1st turnoff in Montana de Oro was a great vantage point to look back at the 3 stacks and a rock and then continue on to Simpsons Cove.We loved our stay in Los Osos at the ranchita and highly recommend it to anyone. "We had a lovely stay here - the place was clean and looked like the photos. I liked that they had a binder with suggestions for what to do in the area - we took their recommendation for a specific hike in Montana de Oro and enjoyed the view from the top.The town is small and quiet, but very cute and has some great bird watching. Perfect for the mini vacation that we were hoping for.Thanks for a great stay!"

"We wished we could have stayed longer than just the one night. We liked the location, which was close to the little village stores and restaurants. The cottage was just perfect for 3 people. We didn't use the kitchen very much or the outdoor amenities due to our schedule, but it looked very workable. It was quiet and all the host's instructions were very clear. There was easy parking and unloading. We'll be back soon, I hope, for a longer stay."

"We absolutely loved our stay in this clean and cozy home. Right next to trails and vista points you can easily walk to. Our two dogs were finally able to join us which was great as most people only allow one dog or they have to be under a certain weight. The hot tub was so nice at night. We used the bbq both nights. The only complaint I would have is that we couldn't stay longer. We welill definitely return because our daughter just started college near by. Thanks for the amazing stay!"
