"From my sons: Martin was super considerate and made check-in very easy, everything was really clean and there was a washer dryer, and the AC works very well. The apartment was really nicely furnished and comfortable and the location was fantastic - close to everything but quiet and close to a great bridge. Loved it!"

"Villa Casanova is a delightful small family run B and B situated close to the shops, restaurants and vaporetta stop, making it the ideal place to stay. The rooms are spotless and very quaint on the top floor. The breakfast choice is superb with all tastes catered for, cereal, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cold meats and hot croissants. One of my favourite meals is Caprese and although I’ve never had it for breakfast before I thoroughly enjoyed having it every morning. My friend and I enjoyed our...

"Clean room with the most wonderful large terrace overlooking bridge and canal. Friendly staff. Easy check in and check out. Good location in Canareggio district of Venice fairly close to train station."

"The room was clean, it was quiet, and quite spacious! Delicious pastries at breakfast to boot, and a great location in Venice. Would love to stay again if we return!"

"Loved our stayed. Far from the chaos of St Marks square and Rialto Bridge, but not too far away, Salute Vaporeto is around the corner, which is a stop to use if you are using the water taxi to move around the Venice canal. A few laid back restaurants a few steps away and also an amazing pub/deli, Corner Pub.
The hotel is very nice and cozy, friend staff, in the room you have the essentials. Can’t go wrong with this hotel"

"Great location and helpful staff! There is no breakfast even though it is advertised, but we didn’t mind. The area is a beautiful quiet neighborhood still accessible to the Venice highlights. We found a few large mosquitoes in the room but it may just be the time of year. Would recommend!"

"The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the waterbus piers. Waterbus is the way to get around in Venice. If you come by bus or taxi from the airport, you don’t need to carry your luggage over the countless bridges in Venice. The hotel is right there when you get out of the bus or taxi. Another advantage of the hotel is that right around the corner, there is a good breakfast bar. Good inexpensive food. The only thing you need to be aware is that you may need to carry your luggage on...

"Great little quiet hotel in the middle of Center City! Everything you need and within walking distance to San Marco Square, water taxi and great restaurants. Highly recommend!!"
"We loved our stay at Palazzo San Luca! Located in a prime site seeing location and easy to get to via the water bus. We were a group of 3 staying in the Premier Apartment and loved our stay! It was spacious, clean, and beautiful. Highly recommend!"
"We loved this quaint hotel on the Venice main canal. The water taxi dropped us right at the door and the porter came right out for our luggage. Very important in Venice! Champagne in our lovely room along with amenities of a high end boutique hotel. Highly recommend!"
"Well equipped cabins and good children's pool. The bus transfer to Venice is very efficient and good value for money.
Only negatives are:
- that the bunk beds in the cabins are not suitable for adults, they were also broken where the ladder attached in all of our cabins.
- the main pool was freezing! Though we did visit in October."
"The location is really good. About a two min walk to the train station. It’s down a narrow alley so even though you are right next to the hustle and bustle the people and noise is absent. The hotel is clean and the rooms were nice. The reason we didn’t give it 5 stars across the board was the shower.
Great pressure and relatively roomy. The problem was the way the designed the shower/tub allowed water to go under the glass door and completely flood the floor. Every single time. We tried using extra towels to block the water but these attempts proved futile. We let the front desk know after our first day and upon check out. The response was tepid. As if she was acknowledging the problem without a concern about fixing the issue.
If not for the shower issues I would definitely recommend this hotel."
