"I would definitely recommend this hotel — it was spotless, with no unpleasant smells at all. The staff were incredibly friendly, check-in was quick and easy, and the location is excellent — close to most of the key places you’ll want to visit. It also felt very safe, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the complimentary upgrade; it truly made our stay in Venice even more special. The breakfast was great too. "Nice stay in a convenient location. Train station is just across the street. There are lots of restaurants and mini shops around the block. Our rental car is just inside the train station. Parking was also very easy. It was a great choice after all."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Carlton. The location was on the grand canal, right across from the train station - which was perfect for a quick arrival with loaded bags. The hotel staff was very friendly and informative. The room was old fashion in a good sense of the way - very Beauty and The Beast decor. We did not eat at the restaurant but the breakfast spread looked amazing. Ask for a room overlooking the canal or courtyard. We walked and walked the city but you could easily hop on a water bus from across the hotel and be at the main sights within mins. "

"I stayed here for a night with my 3 young kids and had a really nice stay! The hostel is only a short walk from Mestre's train station, the reception/communal area is very nice (with a small play area for the kids, which is always a nice thing to have!) and there's a cafè/restaurant with a few food/drinks options. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the room was clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend it for a short stay!"
