Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Terminal 2 and 3

10/10 Excellent

"After an exhausting day of travel, staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Heathrow Airport was exactly what I needed. The hotel’s biggest advantage is its incredibly convenient location just outside Terminal 2, making it an excellent choice for anyone with an early flight or arriving after a long journey. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The highlight of my stay was the excellent room service. Pooja took my order and personally delivered my meal. She thoughtfully asked whether I had any dietary restrictions and confirmed that I was aware of the £5 tray charge before placing the order, which I appreciated. I ordered the fish and chips along with a large bottle of sparkling water. The meal was beautifully presented on the tray with a lovely cloth napkin and a generous selection of condiments, including ketchup, HP sauce, English mustard, mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Pooja also brought a glass filled with ice for my sparkling water, which was especially refreshing after a long and tiring day of travel. Ordering room service turned out to be one of the best decisions I made that day. For a very modest additional charge, I was able to relax in my pajamas, enjoy a delicious meal at my own pace, and unwind after a stressful journey. I would highly recommend the room service at this hotel. The bed and pillows provided an excellent night’s sleep, and I appreciated the in-room safe."

"Beautiful hotel. Check in was lengthy. A new employee had difficulty. One of our rooms was supposed to have two beds and had one. They said they would switch it. Come back in a hour. Wasn’t ready. Come back in an hour. Wasn’t ready. After a long flight this was frustrating. When the trains to Amsterdam were cancelled due to a fire/power outage we decided to extend our stay at Thistle. We had to change rooms. We experienced the same issue - one room did not have two beds. Had to wait a few hours. The room I was in inyeas lovely. The second room was very small and claustrophobic. About 6 inches to get out of the bed. The location of the hotel is awesome with many things to do around it. We enjoyed the food trucks. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious. The self serve snack and drink area was nice. I think our issue was with untrained staff, constant changing of staff and having to explain our issue over and over (when waiting for correct rooms) someone mention the “scheduler” was sick and off that day???? Back up?? Everyone was friendly if not efficient."

"The location of this hotel is great for those who want to step outside and be in the heart of Piccadilly Square. Easy walking distance to restaurants and other venues. Leicester Square is a 2 min walk and the tube station is across the road. Clean and friendly staff in the lobby to help with self check-in and out ( everything is done online) The rooms are small but clean- minimalism is how we would describe them ( no side table and window was a bit different). If you are there for a night or two just to lay hat and sleep it’s great. We were out both days, all day so just needed a bed to sleep in. So glad for the clean, air conditioned room and hotel especially in the heatwave. It had a sold out occupancy while we were there so book ahead as it’s quite popular."

Royal National Hotel

"This location is affordable with zero charm. It's very corporate looking. There were a lot of tour groups and high school groups staying here. Having said that, the location was great. The room was clean. The staff was very nice, there were only so many fans to go around. Keep in mind the rooms are stuffy and there is no air conditioning."
