"Came into town for a Royals game and Stoney Creek seemed like a great option that wasn't too far away. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. I loved how close it was to the highway and easily accessible to many different stores or food options.
The downside was that the walls seem thin and the gaps in the door frame made for a very loud night. We heard every noise, which for us seemed to be several kids running the halls and slamming the doors all night and early morning. The beds were semi comfortable, but the pillows were not supportive so I longed to be home in my own. Shower was ok with decent water pressure and the hotel provided soaps smelled nice. I didn't care for the bathroom light being outside the door though as it could potentially wake up your travel companions while making that sleepy walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Guess you can't do much about that though!
We had high hopes for the breakfast, however, the only thing decent was the sausage. Eggs and potatoes were worth a bite or two but were super cold and not worth eating more beyond that. They would do better with other options such as biscuits and gravy or french toast for those not wanting pancakes (make your own) or bagels. And I couldn't find cold water to drink.
I don't know if the price was worth the stay as I have stayed in cheaper places with much better beds and breakfast options."
