Stoney Creek Hotel Kansas City - Independence

10/10 Excellent

"Very easy checkin. Fast, clean, and efficient."

Best Western Independence Kansas City

8/10 Good

"We liked our stay. I would stay here again. The bed was extremely comfortable as well as the pillows and blankets. I would say the showerhead probably needs to be replaced at this point otherwise the room itself is nice. My complaints were that our TV remote batteries were dead and they couldn’t find new ones so we just had to unplug our TV from the HDMI or whatever. The bedside lamp was also missing its light bulb so that was unfortunate and about 7 or 8 AM I had called the front desk to ask for extra towels and the front desk asked me to wait until 9 AM when room service got there. I asked him if I needed to call again around 9 AM or if they would just come up he said no they would come up. Our checkout was at 11 AM so I needed to shower before 9 AM so I ended up reusing my husband‘s towel. They did however deliver the towels about 945 which at that point I had already showered. Other than that, our stay was fine and we would stay here again. I did kind of like the private location, seemed quiet. We didn’t have any other issues."
