10/10 Excellent

"I liked this hotel as it had old grandeur and the staff were helpful. Also the free breakfast was good with a lot more choice than you normally get when it is free. My room was at the side and I could see the Champlain bridge. I took my bike so cycled to Panama station to get the REM into Montreal (great newish train line with nice clean trains that come every 5 mins). I also cycled across the bridge and along the river - lots of bike paths. Great reasonably priced option if you are coming from Vermont direction and dont want to navigate the bridge traffic."

"The staff was very helpful, the room, large and clean, the bed comfortable, the parking convenient and the breakfast was good. Only drawback was the bathroom, for 4 days we struggled with where to put things and there was no good place to dry towels, not one hook, a confusing shower and soap that completely fell apart. I was told that they were aware and are in the process of renovating the bathrooms."

"The property is an older downtown hotel, the apartment we had was exactly as described. All the main attractions were a 15 or 20 minute walk away, The hotel staff were very polite and helpful , our apartment was clean and serviced on a regular basis. Slight problem with the hotel was the breakfast room could be chaotic but this was not the fault of the hotel it was more the clients using it, the food was good quality and in plentiful supply."

"This is the best hotel we've stayed at so far. The only negative is that it had the worst breakfast out of all the hotels we've stayed at. Basically toast or bagels. They described it as cold continental breakfast. Parking is in an underground garage which would be especially nice if the weather was poor. Great friendly staff and SUPER CLEAN!"

"Spent two nights here in September. Good hotel for tourists. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to Old Montreal. As far as the rooms go, didn’t spend a ton of time there but the bathroom (and the whole rooms too) was clean, the shower worked great and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There is a decent bar in the hotel lobby. For a short tourist stay in downtown Montreal it is a nice, clean and affordable option. The room I stayed in did smell a bit like smoke on check-in but running the room fan for a few mins."
