"This review is for 5/2/26 - 5/4/26. Stayed here a couple nights to catch a show at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown about 30 mins away. First off great communication with the owners & management, very helpful and welcoming. The property itself has so much character and charm. We absolutely loved it. It is a little dim with lightning but not bad. Such a great stay for the price. There are field mice that try to sneak in so just a heads up. "Kitchen was equipped with basic items, which was fine for us, as we did not do any cooking. Fresh ground coffee and coffee maker were great for getting the mornings started. There was a cooler and large ice pack, which were perfect for storing items while we hiked! Propane fire pit and furniture were comfortable in the cooler evenings. Enjoyed dinner at 2 places within walking distance- Saloon and Sky High Pie. We stayed Tuesday- Friday; there may have been other options open on the weekends....

"Our stay at this property is one of the best stays we’ve had. Not only was it decorated in such a cute way, it was cozy and the perfect place to lay our head at night. The hot tub was so relaxing after a day of hiking and running around Joshua Tree. Watched the sun set from the swing chairs and it truly was beautiful. Would definitely come back to this property."

"Not a transparent transaction. Large deposit was not clearly disclosed and then held for 15 days after we vacated because "that is the policy". This transaction involved Expedia, the Local Agency and VRBO. It required numerous phone calls to find out when our deposit would be returned. None of these agencies would accept responsibility ."

I can’t wait to stay there again relaxing, clean and felt remote Please consider the dirt roads when booking can be harder on certain cars but our host gave us directions that included the most paved areas.
