Very nice resort hotel located on its own private bay. Great for families and there were lots of kids. Although I enjoyed this resort very much I would of rather stayed in Patong. I was here to see Phuket area. I was traveling with another adult so the kid part I could of done without but not that I don't like kids! We did get a stomach bug and was down for over 24 hrs. Look no further, this hotel is gorgeous, from the pool to room, just beautiful. I was vacationing with my daughter and stayed in Phuket from aug 10 through the 16 I only stay in 4/5 star hotels and this is definitely a 5 star. We got a room that had a huge balcony with lounge couches overlooking the pool and sea. The room was beautiful and big. A two minute walk down a hill to the beach, definitely manageable. I can't say enough about this hotel...the grounds are beautiful, the individual house suites were absolutely lovely. I want to live in one! The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating. The massages at the spa were fantastic...the food at the restaurant was great...happy hour by the pool...close to the beach and the shops in Karon. Seriously, I can think of nothing to improve upon my experience there.

Le Meridien in Phuket is perfect if you are looking for a private resort away from the madness of Patong Beach or Kata/Karen Beach. In between Patong and Karen Beach villages, the Meridien offers a huge hotel, with incredible ocean view pools, countless restaurants and bars and very nice, lavish rooms. The hotel facilities and staff were beyond my expectations. The pool is amazing and the staff super friendly and helpful. It's walking distance to tranquil Kata beach and lots of restaurants and shops are close by too.

I stayed in different hotels in Phuket and Movenpick was the best of all. Breakfast was great. A lot of food items to pick from. Service was perfect. This hotel is your best choice.

Lovely hotel and the best and most helpful and welcoming staff. Cozy and quiet place even though it’s very close where everything happens. Great activities for kids too. Only minus is that there’s a lot of Russians. That’s up to you to decide wether that’s a minus. Would definitely come back.

Quiet location with shuttle service if you want to be closer to the beaches. Restaurant & healthy shakes were good options. Pool was nice and rooms where very comfortable.

I can't think of a bad thing to say about our stay other than we had to go. The staff was wonderful. The room was modern and clean. We stayed on the ground level within steps of the pool, beach and restaurant/bar. Pool side massage. Beautiful sunsets. Great food. And adult only.

It was a very amazing stay at centara grand. we were very pleased with the location on the hotel on the beach (unlike most hotels that were a long walk to the beach) this corner of the beach makes for almost a private clean beach which is a super plus point. not forgetting all the awesome facilities at the hotel like the multiple pools, mini water park, wide dining choices & restaurants and a short walk from town.

Very nice big and spacious rooms. Breakfast was great along with friendly and helpful staff. However, rooms need a bit dated. And swim up pool needs to be tiled so it could look prestigious and stand out better. Other than that we enjoyed our stay there!

Had a wonderful time at this hotel. Was taken care of and welcomed with a flower lei bracelet. Staff was very nice and took care of all our activities and needs. Close to restaurants, shops, beach and attractions. Grounds were kept nice at all times and room was beautiful with private pool, had a amazing time! Would definitely stay here every time!

Lovely place to stay

I totally regret going to Bangkok. We should have spent our entire two weeks here at Horizon! AMAZING hotel. Great breakfast, staff, on a cliff so it's nice clean and safe. It's a 5min walk to the beach (literally you can just walk from your room to the beach or free Tim tuk). KARON beach is beautiful. DONT stay in patong (it's crowded and dirty, the beach there sucks). In patong you can't even swim far in the water because of all the jet skis and the air smells like gasoline. Horizon hotel was...
