"I booked the AThens Hawks hostel based on price, location and reviews. I wasn’t expecting a lot for the price but was really impressed with the place. We arrived late due to Taxi strike, but someone was a reception and was very welcoming. Our room was big, modern, clean and better than anything we’ve stayed in so far, for a lot more money. The breakfast was great, loved the big room and selection. The location wasn’t perfect part of town,but close to downtown. We would stay there again! We stayed 2 nights and the reception was always very helpful. They get 5 stars from us."

"Good service and attention to detail. Check-in wasn't good. Broken toilet paper dispenser was never fixed. Mini bar wasn't full when we arrived and you tried to charge us for stuff we didn't use. The elevators are not efficient. The signs for ingress, egress, and in and around the hotel need improvement. Otherwise, excellent."

"The hotel was very nice, clean and helpful, friendly staff. Close to the metro station and in front of the Hop On Hop Off stops, which made getting around the city easy. If you decide to walk for example to Monastiraki Square, area around the hotel felt unsafe at night. "

"We originally reserved this lovely room for 2 nights. Sadly, our flight was canceled and we were stranded in Montenegro. The flight the next morning was delayed, so we didn't arrive at COCO-MAT until afternoon. We were very sad to miss out on so much of our time, as we didn't get to avail ourselves of the many amenities. However, the helpfulness of the staff did much to alleviate our stress and disappointment. They went above and beyond expectations. The location is perfect. We had reserved tickets to the nearby, but, of course, we missed the timed entry due to the flight cancellation. When we decided to try to purchase replacement tickets that afternoon, it was raining quite hard. The staff loaned us umbrellas, which was so helpful. While we were at the Acropolis, I got an email telling us that the airline had moved up our flight the next morning 2 1/2 hours earlier. That would have required us to leave the hotel in the middle of the night to travel to the airport. We were quite distraught. However, Fillippos, who worked at the front desk helped us cancel our flight and helped book us passage by Ferry to Milos. He was incredibly helpful. "

"Overall clean property with beautiful courtyard to enjoy coffee / breakfast. Lots of greenery all around. Rooftop bar is breathtaking with gorgeous view of the acropolis, especially at night. "

"This place was super cute, clean, and conveniently located to walk to the center of Athens! Also very close to the train, which we used to get to and from the airport. The staff was super kind and friendly & were there around the clock in the case you needed anything. They also let us check our bags for a bit after checkout so we could go explore. Would stay again! 10/10"
