"Perfect place to stay in Keswick"

"We found the room and hotel to be quite dated Carpets were dirty and towels had marks on them. We never felt clean during our stay here. It was our first trip to the Lakes and we have been put off returning because of it."

"Rooms were comfortable. Good beds and duvets. Wonderful view! Staff were very approachable and pleasant. The breakfasts were good apart from the last day when no hot breakfasts available. We enjoyed a very nice evening meal but were disappointed there was no hot drinks available afterwards. Not easy to park for larger vehicles."

"This is our 4th stay at Gretaside, and it was excellent as usual. The position of the flat is excellent for going off walking all day, returning home either via the chip shop for a lazy night in, or coming home, getting changed and going for a night out in Keswick. Unfortunately there is a slight issue with a leaky kitchen window, which has got worse since our last visit, but it doesn’t spoil our stay, or put us off returning, but it does look a little unsightly. But we have stayed in other properties around Keswick (including another flat in the Gretaside block) and this is by far the best flat. Can’t wait to return."

"Great location - quiet street close to the town centre bars and restaurants but with off street parking which is great. Clean room, comfortable, great breakfast and first class service. Would recommend. "
