"We found the room and hotel to be quite dated Carpets were dirty and towels had marks on them. We never felt clean during our stay here. It was our first trip to the Lakes and we have been put off returning because of it."

"This was a lovely flat for our family of six. The flat was clean, the living area was spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. It is in an ideal location for walking through town, attending a conference at The Pencil Factory, and heading to the lake."

"Rooms were comfortable. Good beds and duvets. Wonderful view! Staff were very approachable and pleasant. The breakfasts were good apart from the last day when no hot breakfasts available. We enjoyed a very nice evening meal but were disappointed there was no hot drinks available afterwards. Not easy to park for larger vehicles."

"A well designed apartment just right for a couple, right in the centre of town with dedicated parking just round the corner. Lots of steps to get in, which was not a problem for us.The information folder is completely out of date, with much information no longer correct. We were given a WiFi code that was incorrect, and the router was unplugged, so the correct network did not show until we had found it. This was irritating, but did not detract from an otherwise ideal apartment."

"We have stayed in many places in Keswick and this wonderful flat is certainly up there with the best. The location for an out of season visit is superb. Very close to all of the local amenities with beautiful views towards the fells from the upstairs rooms. The flat was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and always warm. An idea location with options for many walks straight from the door or only a few minutes drive away. We can highly recommend The Fell Pack, The Square Orange and LRB for delicious reasonably priced meals. We only have one small gripe. The double bed. The mattress was a little lumpy and very firm. There was also a roll to the middle. I had to use another bed. However this would not prevent us from visiting The Tops again as we had another wonderful week in the glorious Lake District."
