"A well-equipped 2 bed apartment in Keswick town centre, but quiet - apart from emptying the bottle bins from the pub next door!
It was clean, tidy, well laid out with good quality linen and towels. There were one or two extra utensils that would have been handy in the kitchen, but it was well stocked with all the consumables you often have to buy from scratch.
Again, a minor point, but expecting departing guests to strip all bedding and bag up it all up with towels etc for the laundry under...

"Perfect find fir a few nights away with the bonus of parking in Keswick!!
Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given.
Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it.
Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel.
Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm.
Definitely worth a visit "
"The hotel is situated high above Keswick, so even though it's about a 15 minute walk into town, be mindful that it's a steep climb back again! The breakfasts are wonderful and well organised, the rooms are very comfortable, clean and well-appointed. There's a lovely terrace outside, so if you have good weather, it's a welcome space to just sit and enjoy the view. If I came back to Keswick, I'd definitely be booking to stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"We received a very warm welcome from Craig and Claire on arrival, Craig even carried my suitcase from the car to the hotel where Claire took over and gave us the tour of the hotel ground floor and explained how things worked. Our room was spacious enough with an ensuite, I might suggest you take on of the chairs out we never sat on both at the same time. Bathroom was a great size with plenty room for our toiletries. We also had a great garden view.
Breakfast was lovely, best poached eggs I've had on smashed Avocado and sourdough, the kippers were excellent and the full English was great too. Lovely thick bacon and proper meaty sausage. No end of tea and toast.
I would recommend this hotel, Craig and Claire genuinely want youto enjoy your stay and this definitely comes across when they interact with guests. Craig has great local knowledge too and is happy to help with directions.
Overall a great stay with the added bonus of great weather "
