"Traffic very noisy through windows. Comfortable clean beds with brand new chunky pillows. Walk in shower very convenient, cleanliness a bit of an issue. Toby Inn attached was excellent with good choice and nicely cooked, both evening meal and breakfast."

"We pre-booked a non smoking Family room. On arrival the non smoking Family room we were given was not cleaned very satisfactory, they had no other rooms to offer other than a smoking room, which we had no choice but to accept. After pulling out The Bed Settee it was full of `glitter` (obviously not cleaned). The TV controller did not work and an electric bulb was missing from the dressing table. We complained and were given a small rebate. Would not book at this Hotel again."

"The night I stayed the petrol station next to hotel was being refurbished. That meant jack hammers and floodlights throughout the night - the poor staff didnt know anything about it until they started and were very apologetic - staff were very good.
