This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is located at milepost 5.5 on a quiet non-through street, just a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach accesses at Sibbern Ave or Arch St. (0.2 mile).
The space
This is a classic but updated "beach box" style construction 3 bedroom 2 bath house located just three lots back from the ocean in Kill Devil Hills in a quiet, residential neighborhood near the end of a dead-end road.
Our cottage offers:

Open concept living area with a fully stocked kitchen and large Hi-Def smart TV with Roku
High speed cable internet
Dining table seating for 6 and two additional stools at the bar/island.
Sliding glass doors from the living area open up to a large deck space with Adirondack seats for 6.
Large "crows nest " level with 180 degree ocean views and additional seating.
A gate at the entrance from the main level deck to so you don't have to worry about your furry friends wandering while you enjoy the space.
Bedrooms:
The master bedroom features a king-size bed, an en suite full bathroom, and a walk-in shower.
Second bedroom with a queen size bed
Third bedroom with a single bed and a set of (single) bunkbeds.
All bedrooms have smart TVs with streaming. (We do not have cable television.)
The second full bathroom is in the hallway, featuring a tub/shower combo.
Linens and bath towels are provided
Ground Level:
Detached laundry with a full-size washer and dryer and drink fridge
Beach wagon, umbrella, beach chairs, and cornhole boards
Decking under the house with seating.

Guest access
Guests have access the entire home and property with the exception of a locked owner's closet and storage room downstairs.
Other things to note
The minimum age to rent is 25. We do require a signed rental agreement.
ABSOLUTELY no parties or outside overnight guests will be allowed. You will be asked to leave immediately and will not receive a refund of any kind.
This is a dog-friendly rental. While we and our cleaners are as thorough as possible, if you have pet allergies, this listing may not be suitable for you.
Dogs only - maximum of 2 dogs allowed. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your dog. Dogs must be house-trained, friendly (in case we need to access the house), up to date on flea meds and shots, and well-socialized. Dogs are not to be left alone unattended in the house uncrated for extended periods of time. Be sure to pick up after your dog in all areas and keep your dog off the furniture. If you have a "shedding" type breed, clean-up also means hair within reason. Failure to do so or any damage from your dog will result in an additional fee.
if you use the grill please clean it before departure for the next guests. Our cleaners do not clean grills. If you use the last of the propane in one of the tanks, please let us know or replace it.
If you break something, please replace it or let us know ahead of time so that we can be proactive for the next guests. We know accidents happen - just help us out!
We provide one set of bath towels per expected guest. We do not provide beach towels.
We provide the first roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. Additional needs are the guests' responsibility.
We are your neighbors and live just a couple of miles away. We are super laid back but expect that you will respect our space and the rules.
While extremely rare, we are not responsible for power outages or other weather-related issues beyond our control. We do not give refunds for weather-related issues or internet or cell tower-related issues.
