"Fat Badger is very central and close to all amenities. Shambles, York Minster, Bettys coffee shop and museums etc. Many good restaurants, pubs all nearby. It was ver clean if a little tired with regard to decor. The food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast served by Debbie who had us in stitches. She was very professional and also very welcoming as was every member of staff. We would definitely return. "

"Proper opening windows when they are next replaced would be a great idea. Meeting rooms 1-4 are far to small and many more are needed. "

"Great place to stay"

"We stayed at the Hilton York several occasions but this time was different. We haven't been since the refurbishment. The receptionist was very polite. The rooms were immaculate and the food was incredible. In fact next time we go will be eating dinner at the hotel overall five star."

"Friendly and helpful staff at front desk and on the door. Sadly the staff in the 1906 bar left a lot to be desired. Great location, a short walk to the train station and into the town centre."
