Having stayed there before the standards were again very high and again most appreciated. The hotel is perfectly situated in Monkey Forest Road and within reasonable walking distance to many high quality shops, restaurants and bars, for example, Donna, Honey & Smoke, Watercress and Parsir. A great stay at a great hotel. "

"We just stayed for 8 nights at the Sankara for our honeymoon and absolutely loved everything about it. To start, we had a one bedroom pool villa (Bima) that was gorgeous. It had the perfect amount of privacy and comfort. The cleaning staff were great and made our room like new each and every day. The staff were excellent. Always greeting as we came in and out without missing a beat making sure we had everything we needed. 2 staff members we’d like to point out are Ronney and Roseana. Ronney is a driver and he was the best. He showed us around all the local food spots, the cultural places and also some fun places Bali has to offer. He was with us the whole time taking pictures and taught us a lot about the Bali culture. Thanks Ronney!! Roseana was a masseuse and she gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. I recommend the spa. It was worth every dollar. Bar drinks were great, the food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. We give the Sankara a 10/10. Thanks for having us and making our honeymoon as amazing as it was!"
