Aquaduck is a well-maintained, Oceanside home in Duck with an easy walk to the ocean and sound. Enjoy sound views from the large, western-facing decks or relax in the lovely pool and picnic area in the backyard. Take a short stroll to the beach and pass the day away soaking up rays and splashing in the ocean or take a kayak out at the easy sound access and fish for your dinner for the night. This four bedroom home has plenty of room to spread out in the spacious, open-concept living/dining/kitchen areas.

Parking, outdoor shower with hot and cold water and laundry room.

Level 2:
Aquaduck has a classic H floor plan with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on each end of the home. In the middle is a large open gathering area with vaulted ceiling, large living room with 50“ flat screen TV and DVD player, dining area and kitchen. Sliding doors open up to a large sundeck with partial sound views. 4 bedrooms (1 with King, direct access to hall bathroom, 40” flat screen TV and DVD player, 1 with 2 Bunk sets, 32” flat screen TV and DVD player; 2 with Queen, and 32” flat screen TVs and shared bathroom).

Don't miss out on Aquaduck, where location is key. It's just a quick ride to Duck Village where you can walk the soundside boardwalk and visit many quaint village shops and eateries. For the more adventurous, the Currituck lighthouse in Corolla is open for climbing daily from late March through November. Or take a drive south to visit the Wright Brothers' Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, the site of the first powered flight, or Jockey's Ridge State Park in Nags Head, the largest sand dune on the east coast.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. عناصر نالت الإعجاب: النظافة
Pool is small but did the trick, especially on double red flag days. Pool deck needed to be sprayed for red ants.Need to go outside to access washer/dryer. Good location; 1.5 miles from stores, etc. Clean, but not immaculate. Overall, good stay. TVs in each of the four bedrooms was a treat for the kids.
