"I was disappointed with my stay at the Lighthouse Inn in Crescent City. The property is quite old and feels dated throughout. During our visit, there was construction going on, which made it noisy and less relaxing than expected. The beds were also old and squeaky, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast was very basic and lacked any protein options, just a minimal selection that wasn't very satisfying. Overall, if you're simply looking for a place to sleep for one night, it may be adequate, but don't expect a comfortable or modern experience. I think this property could benefit from significant updates and improvements."

"The gal who checked us in was nice. Our room was clean and could see the ocean across the street. We always carry poop bags for our dog. The grass pet area was full of poop, everywhere. They could have bags for people who can't seem to pick up their dogs crap. That is my only complaint. We would stay again, centrally located."

"I can’t say enough about this staff. Upon arrival at 9:00pm, I was informed that Expedia should have notified me that there was a problem with my reservation. The previous guest had damaged my room and they were trying hard to finish cleaning it. The hotel was completely booked, so another room wasn’t available. While on hold with Expedia, the hotel staff tried desperately to find another place for us to stay for the night. They finally made arrangements with a campground for us to Glamp for the evening. This was acceptable to us (long time camping family) and the location was literally around the corner. The next morning we arrived for breakfast and I checked with the desk staff. The staff member told me he had just finished reading the notes for our stay and told us the room just needed to be double checked and would be ready as soon as 11:00. We spent the day vacationing in the Redwoods and came back to a wonderful clean room. Great job everyone at Klamath Holiday Inn!"
