"The Grand Hyatt Kauai is an excellent pick for this island. It is a beautiful hotel right by the beach and has several great pools, a lazy river, a waterslide and a saltwater lagoon. The hotel staff was very friendly. The spa was beautiful as well. The hotel may get crowded when the schools are on holidays because the hotel is kid-friendly but the week we were there, it was not too crowded nor too isolated. Just right. My favorite part of the hotel was the Seaview Terrace which is a café/restaurant with a beautiful ocean view and both indoor and outdoor seating. They had live music and a singer almost every night during dinner time. It was very enjoyable and a great experience."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has everything you could need for a large family. We stayed with our kids and grandparents. The sunsets off the back deck were amazing every evening. We loved the quiet neighborhood and loved having the pool right there. Everything is well equipped for cooking as well. The AC was perfect too! We would definitely stay here again!"

"HURRICANE AT HALE NANIThere aren’t enough superlatives to describe this stunning villa. We were swept away! And rode out Hurricane LALA there in comfort and safety.5 star accommodations for 8–10 with 4 beautiful spacious ensuites plus detached casita/ADU. The huge custom closets/ storage in each suite are so rarely encountered. Tasteful, elevated design choices throughout the house—yet unobtrusive and appropriate to an island setting. We were big fans as well of the vast pantry and laundry room. Stunning great room in which to gather, eat, cook. Every imaginable amenity. Effective AC and fans were appreciated in the tropical clime. Mesmerizing 180 view of golf course and sea beyond, and huge outdoor area w/ pool, spa, firepit. The fotos don’t convey the impressive scale. The perfect setting in which to celebrate our 6O th Anniversary w/ our 3 gen Ohana of veteran travelers. House so private yet well located minutes away from markets, shops and restaurants in charming Koloa and Poipu. 10 mins to beaches —though I personally couldn’t leave the infinity pool. ;)My husband took a tumble and urgent care in Shops at Kukui’ula was superb. Wailani Kauai management team was incredibly gracious, communicative, and responsive. A special shoutout to Frankie who catered to our every need and guided us through the hurricane. We’ve taken many family trips and this was our favorite hands down. Mahalo nui loa"

"It’s very rare that the pictures live up to the experience. But in this case the property is actually more beautiful and serene than we thought it would be! Absolutely spectacular and perfect for a family of five with grandparents. Pool, breeze, lanai… our mornings and evenings were set for perfect enjoyment! And then there’s Malia... she made sure everything went well from booking to check in to surviving a tropical storm! Thank you for an amazing vacation!"

"The house is beautiful and was perfect for our family of six adults and two children. It is well located. The only problems we encountered were a non-working oven because parts were unavailable and persistent ants in the master bath. The host indicated they were having an exterminator coming. We just wished they had come before we did. The pool was lovely and occupied the children well during down times when we were not at the beach or hiking in the canyon. We would rent this house again for our family."

"Super cute home and beautiful property. Owner was easy to contact and quick to respond. We would definitely recommend and stay again. We loved the back porch, having a private pool and the view. Notes to future renters…The front door lock is tricky. Lock from inside and turn handle to see if the latch doesn’t retract. Reviews that say the beach is 15 minute WALK, are not accurate. The quickest beach is about 25 minutes at brisk pace. There are several beach options in about a 10 minute drive. (Owners listing is accurate for proximity) Location is great, shopping and coffee/restaurants about 20 minute walk away. Lots of shops and food in 10 minute drive radius."

"This home was beautiful, exceeded our expectations, and was the perfect accommodation for our family of 8. We spent lots of time out on the lanai watching hole 4 of the golf course, putting on the property's putting green, and driving back and forth to the shops, restaurants, beach, and pool, which were all close by. Great neighborhood. Beautiful interior. Easy communication with host."
