"This is the worse hotel and it looks nothing like on the photo. I asked for a quite room as I am a light sleeper so they give me a room on the 3rd floor right below the restaurant. I could not sleep at night before someone moved tables and chair all night long. The room itself was very very small and not updated. There was an A/C but the smell was so bad so I kept just the window open. Also, the location is busy and anywhere you go, you need to go up to hill.. "

They offer other options including another hotel and refund but I was tired and didn’t want to waste more time and I believe it was Expedia mistake. "We spent a wonderful week in La Mer Old City Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, modern and clean. The location is fantastic, we saw the Ayia Kiriaki church from our window. The Sea of Marmara and U3 train is 3 minutes on foot. The main attractions of Istanbul are also very close. The staff of the hotel is very kind, friendly and helpful, we would like to thank them all their kindness."
