"Great place!!!"

"We stayed at the Cross Hotel during a recent visit to Rome, and overall it was a great experience. One of the best things about this hotel is its location, it’s within walking distance to several major sites. In particular, it’s very close to Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, and just a short walk to the stunning Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, which made it easy to explore some of the city’s most beautiful churches on foot. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were helpful, and the rooms were well-maintained and quiet which is a nice retreat after a long day of sightseeing. However, it’s important to mention that the surrounding area can feel a bit dark at night, and there are quite a few homeless people along the way and even directly across the street. While I didn’t have any negative encounters, it’s something to keep in mind, especially if you’re walking back late in the evening. If you’re looking for a hotel with few amenities and convenient access to some of Rome’s historical churches and landmarks, Cross Hotel is a strong choice, just be aware of the local surroundings after dark."

"Loved this place. Only complaint is that there was no water on our final morning. No water in shower, no water in sink faucets, couldn’t even flush the toilet. Other than that, everything was top notch, including the breakfast!"

"Brilliant staff. Great breakfast. Unbeatable views of the Coliseum from the rooftop pool and bar. Very convenient and lots of bars and restaurants near by. "

"Stayed here for three nights for a family (two adults, one toddler) vacation stop in Rome. The rooms were slightly difficult to access (main door, multiple gates, elevator, apartment door, then room door). This was the only downside. The staff were very friendly and responsive, the rooms were clean and looked like the pictures, and the location was great. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Roma Termini train station, the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica is right across the street and the Colosseum is a 20 minute walk away. Tons of restaurants and shops nearby as well. Highly recommended! "
