I chose this property for the high ratings and the lower than chain hotels prices. It was a good choice! This place was clean with a 70s or 80s vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'd stay here again and recommend it to others as well.

Came through on an over night stay. Lynda at the front desk was GREAT! We had a little issue with our room. The room was in use or some thing. No big deal. We and the (front desk) had a good laugh. This felt like a bed and breakfast. We had a huge and quiet bedroom with a private bath. There was a large eating area and a large family room area adjacent to one another. A small creek flowed on the back side of the property which could be seen and heard from the back patio. Breakfast was home cooked and great. We didn't have time to explore Cuchara but enjoyed the little time we stayed at Dodgeton Creek Inn.

The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was a very good size. The pool water was cold for August, but, the hot tub was great. The buffet breakfast was good, but, no meat was served. The breakfast is large. Our nonsmoking room bedspread had cigarette burns in it. I reported it and the desk clerk said a new one had been ordered. Wal Mart is about 1/8th of a mile away and Wendy’s is nearby, too, all easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay.

I booked this room for my husband. He was sick & miserable. The gal that checked him in recognized he wasn't feeling well & was amazing to him. I cannot say enough good about her & her customer service. Thank you for being so nice to my husband. This property has great parking. Plenty of room for the large trailer he was towing. The room was clean & comfortable. He said breakfast was very good. There was someone there that made his breakfast to order. Will stay here again

I always stay here when I come to Raton. The restaurant has good food and the parking lot has enough room to make it easy to park a pickup.

Very friendly staff. Got a call several hours following checkout. The housekeeper stated that we had left behind a computer tablet. Wow! What service! We were almost on our way out of town, and it was no problem to stop by and retrieve the tablet. What wonderful service. Otherwise, if one is expecting a brand new motel with pristine everything in the rooms... well, no. The room was a bit worn, like maybe it's time for an update. But the beds and furniture were clean, the bathroom and shower...

The room was very nice and exceptionally clean. I am a Housekeeping Supervisor at a Quality Inn and two mom-and-pop hotels, so I can truly appreciate a well-maintained room. Everything was clean, fresh, and well taken care of. We really enjoyed our stay, and I have already recommended this place to my team. Great job to the housekeeping staff for providing such a clean and comfortable room—well done! 👏
