"Great property, good location, Would go again"

"The villa is spotless clean. They cleaned up the pool twice during our 1 week stay there. The location is fantastic with really great views to see the sunset. In terms of other things to be aware of: the villa next door is under construction and they did a lot of noise and dust during our stay. Also you'll need a car to go around as it is far away from any restaurants or shops. Not a problem for us, but better to be prepared. The internet was a bit slow, but I've been able to work remotely...

The small village has everything required for self catering but a car is essential to explore the surrounding towns/ area. "We stayed as a family of four. Mum, gran and 2 kids 11 & 15. Villa was beautiful and clean, Terry (our host) was welcoming, pool and outside space was lovely. Everything that was required was in the villa. The boys lived in the pool for the week. The shopping center was a 10 minute walk away. Town was a further 15/20 minute walk."

"The villa is extremely spacious both inside and out with a great roof terrace with panoramic views, we had an issue with the fridge part of the fridge freezer which was almost as cold as the freezer itself, Our main issue was the location of the villa, very long walk into the main town of Caleta Fuste and villa is on the flight path which we found a bit annoying. Maria kindly got some essentials in for us as we arrived in the evening. "Finca El Lomo is a wonderful haven of peace in a noisy world. It is situated in the heart of the island yet only a 15 minute drive from the coastal towns and beaches. The hosts Linda and Hans keep the property in immaculate condition. They are always on hand to help but unobtrusive. A hire car is essential but it is an ideal base to tour the whole island. This place is a rare gem in a world of mass tourism!"

"Villa is very big, with a separate apartment attached. Huge grounds, absolutely massive garden area, and the pool area is really well maintained and laid out. Tennis courts were a great addition - provided somewhere to run around in before the heat came in the day. All the rooms were big, well maintained, and comfortable. If I came back to the island, I’d stay again. Central location so you can get everywhere pretty easily with a car."

"We stayed in this apartment block 2 years ago and this trip was intended as a repeat 1 month "live with the local" holiday. Due to health issues I was unable to go for the month but we did manage 18 nights and that combined with glorious weather, wonderful host and perfect apartment was everything we wanted. Marian is a wonderul lady and Dee and I would highly recommend her. Nothing was too much trouble for her. What more can we say. Don't hesitate, go and you wont regret it. Stephen & Dee"
