EXPEDIA failed to let me know that Rumor Boutique Hotel was bought off by new ownership and had to stay in a "currently renovated" hotel called Serene, that equaled to nothing but issues!!!

Nice hotel
The picture on the website are amazing but totally
Different in person however i was told it was under construction i will stay there again cause staff was nice and helpful i hope the bar lounge opens soon it is away from the strip but I really did like my stay
Hello everyone I love nice rooms, and I'm a Vegas resident here so from time to time I like to get away and have a staycation. I was very satisfied with the Hotel Rumor Boutique my boyfriend also loved it, we will be going back soon! The staff were also great thanks again!
First room we had the lights were dead and weird stains on drapes. Second room weird stains in random places. Nice to be close to the strip cut would never stay here again.
Staff was unprofessional having personal conversations about sex while guest needed to be helped . Maintenance issues tv didn't work heater didn't work. False advertisement not all rooms have jacuzzi tub . dirty linen lined the hallways like homeless people lived in them
It was honestly quite horrible. First off the room was nothing like what was presented. Our window didn't open, the tv didn't work, the shower was either freezing cold or way to hot. Our next door neighbors were crazy both nights. They were insanely loud and then we're fighting all night. We ended up with a hole in our room the next morning.
Awful. Room was dirty, no convenient outlets, poor lighting scheme, a/c unit- 1 was stuck in heater, the other dripped water (which probably meant there was mold). Oh and the beds Are super uncomfortable

The account is control by remote I did not have one in my room so my room Saturday hot all night because they could not locate 1. There was a picture missing off the wall smh. They gave me keys initially to a room that was either not cleaned or already occupied. Just a horrible stay.

UNEXPECTED
This facility 50% similar its look from WEBSITE. Loud music, too many drinking and smoking near by the pool. Its not a great place for family vacation. AC filter dirty, closet sliding door falling apart, and little odor

The hotel tried hard to be hip and posh, but lacking in detail, such as lose outlets that can hold your charger steadily. In addition AC and heater does not work in the two rooms I stayed in. During the stay, I upgraded to a bigger room for $25/night, only to find out the room that I pay more has less amenities ( bathtub and hairdryer). I did not care about the tub, because the tub in my previous room was filthy. Staff were not so professional either. During check in, had to wait til she finished talking on the phone, for about 5 minutes. Same thing, during the upgrading process. Asked for 4:30 & 4:45 AM wake up call, didn't receive it until 5 AM.(why bother calling me at 5?). Not happy at all, cos I was hoping to stay in a hotel, not run down motel.
The suite I received was big, had a spa in the bedroom. bathroom was adequate, but shower flooded ocasionally. Marijuana smell was everywhere in this hotel, but you do get used to it.
This hotel is trying to look nice but it fails when you look closely. My room was old, smelled bad and dirty. Cigarette jokes in the blankets in a non-smoking room. Would never stay there again.
While admittedly it was a crazy time (CES) was given a room with a whole in the wall, the white couch was covered in black sharpie the plugs in the walls were so worn that charges just fell out of the wall. My rooms heater was also broken, I asked to have it fixed but it never was. However the bed was great as was the parking and wifi. It was close enough to be convenient but not a part of the crazy.
However the staff was not that worried or helpful/upset when told about the problems with the room. They might have been fully booked so there may not have been anything they could do but they didn't offer to comp even a breakfast for all the hassle

Disappointed.... Expected Better
I didn't really like my experience. First there was a roach in the bathroom which disgusted us. The shower didn't work properly. The iron table had no sheet and no fridge in the room, it had to be rented.
For paying over $400 per night at this hotel, I will never again choose this place.
This was the worst experience ever. I have never left a hotel in the middle of the night to get better rest at the airport. There were multiple parties being extremely loud outside and in the hallway. The hallway was filled with smoke from people smoking weed and cigarettes. (Clearly not a non smoking hotel) I called the front desk multiple times and each they said the would have security take care of the noise. After 3 hours of this I just got up, packed and left. The front desk lady didn't even seem phased, apparently this is normal. It sucks cause this hotel has such potential. The room were not very clean and I felt I had to wear my shoes in the room all the time. Also there was only a sheet like blanket.
