The hotel, while a bit older was a great stay. Rooms were huge, place was clean, and the views were pretty good over looking the pool. The staff a check in was so pleasant, and made check in seamless. Place was great, and id come back for sure.

We like the size of the room we had. The workers were very helpful and pleasant. The masquerade parking garage had a lot of trash on the stairwells. Only 3 of the 4 pools were open and that was a disappointment. The waterfalls in the pool area were not operational. I was looking forward to splashing through them. The reason I booked this hotel was to enjoy all the pool amenities. We won't return until the all the pool amenities are open for use.

We stayed in the Masquerade Tower which is the older tower with renovated rooms. Although they are renovated, the furniture is dated and chipped. The shower drain clogged every time we used it, the sink handles were hard to turn and the sink drain did not drain properly. Also the iron was dirty and left dirty marks on my dress. The view however was good and the room is spacious. I thought the bed was comfortable. It had good support and wasn't too hard. My husband however did not think the bed was comfortable and he found it hard to sleep the whole time we were there. Parking is free which is great. There's a Starbucks and an EggSlut, which I unfortunately did not get to try but have heard great things about EggSlut.

Rio is amazing in terms of staff. However, expect multiple extra charges before and way after your stay!! They keep charging your card until there is no more dough!! Also schedule is more of a military rather a hotel in Vegas. Staff keeps knocking on your door early in the morning and wake you,, if you leave the doNotdisturb card, then the security will knock on your door wondering why you have the card hanging!!! No relaxing morning whatsoever. Pool is only open till 5 pm which makes absolute no sense either. Cherry on top, they broke my luggage and were supposed to get back to me for reimbursement and nothing but an unsolicited charge after a month!!!!! Cx service? been on hold for ages and nth

I think the check-in process is disastrous with the kiosks and all the confusion about which elevator to take and where your room is, etc. The staff in this area were polite and not helpful. Other than that, the property is amazing, everything was very nice, the amenities were superb, the room was quiet, the bed was clean and the room was very comfortable. I would stay here again given the opportunity. However, I strongly recommend some work on the automatic check-in process and review it from the customers perspective when you have crowd showing up at 4 PM. It is slow, grinding, confusing, and just not a good process in my humble opinion.

The room was very old and the coffee table was made of heavy stone, the corners were chipped and my leg was sliced open. I barely bumped into the table as well. Carpets were stained. Mattress frames looked old and sheets did not fully cover them. The hotel itself is very barren, slot machines spaced out oddly through out the property, the only food place that was familiar was SmashBurger. Large bar in the center non-operational. Lobby bar was great, bartenders had great service and made yummy drinks. Nice little gift shops and convenience store inside. Parking is easy. Lobby is beautiful but the rest of the property is very worn down. Draft Kings event going on in the center of the property… just giant big screen playing sports and random couches on platforms for people to watch those sports. No more masquerade in the sky show. I worked here back in 2012 and it was so lively and fun. Sad to see how much the Rio has deteriorated.
