"This is a great place to unwind and get your bearings. It is central to the sites we wanted to see like waterfalls, volcano hikes, penninsula and historic sites in St. Pierre. We used this apartment as a base to see the North side of the island. It was perfect for us. It was well equipped including snorkelling gear (which we did not use but great to have for someone else). There is a bakery steps away that we frequented often. There is a restaurant called Le Petibonum just down the alley. The food is good and a grocery story maybe 1 km towards st. Pierre. The manager, Elise, was fabulous. She has a booklet of instructions that include places to see, restaurants to go to and other suggestions. She was very responsive. It was awesome to be able to connect with someone in an unfamiliar place. Thank you Elise. "
