"The place over all is just tired. It was clean, but needs some updating. However, the bathroom had been redone and was very nice. Room was clean, but couch looked very dirty. Walls were dinged, but I would stay here again if passing through for a night. The pool was empty but did not matter to us."

"The property itself and the buildings are unique and very well maintained with several areas to relax with comfortable chairs and couches. A very warm and inviting atmosphere. They have a tap room where you can get snacks and drinks and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. Very clean and the room was spacious. We even had a little area to sit outside of our room on chairs. The shower is in a separate room so you can close that door and get ready without the humidity that usually occurs. Nice staff members and check-in was easy."

"The room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel really needs some upkeep in all areas. The pool was closed and the elevators were out of service. The breakfast was okay but again, everything needed some attention in the lobby. Not terrible,but some sprucing up is in order. I guess I got what I paid for because it was substantially less expensive than surrounding properties and I was glad I could find a room on a busy weekend for under a hundred. I did get a good night sleep, however because the room was fine. That was the most important thing."

"We took a trip to Bloomington and decided to spend the night last minute. I was able to book the room via Expedia and for $65, we had a quiet, clean place to lay our heads."

"The rooms were decent. But definitely showing wear despite some remodeling. Breakfast was microwave sandwiches and cereal or oatmeal. Rooms were not very insulated for noise. Heard everyone's doors and even walking footsteps down hallways. Made it hard to sleep."
