Very nice hotel on the Lago Maggiore in Verbania! Staff was super kind to find the right room for my mother that is 82 and has mobility issues ! The area is very nice calm with many restaurants and cafe around . Great location of the hotel and from there you can also take the little ferries to visit all the Lake’s Town and little islands !

Great location spacious room and very friendly staff.

First and foremost the air conditioning in the room was amazing for an American!!!! Not your typical European AC. Also there was a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was plentiful as an European breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would love to stay here again. We had a double bed and plenty of spacious room for each of us within the room. We even had a little balcony.

We absolutely loved our stay at the White Lilac! A beautiful property with wonderful views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and would happily return!

Great place on a pond. Good breakfast included. Good Location , easy access to milan and the northern lakes.

The young woman at the reservation desk who greeted us was lovely and helpful. Her suggestions for the day and where to have lunch in Arona were most enjoyable. In the evening, a gentleman at the desk directed us to a restaurant nearer the hotel for dinner, not near the lake. Our fault for not being specific. All in all, a good choice for a close location to the airport.

Europalace exceeded all expectations. We got a corner lake view room and it was absolutely stunning! The hotel room was spacious, clear and you could tell that the bathrooms had recently been renovated. The location is perfect, and walkable to all the necessary areas around. The only difficult thing is getting to the hotel. If you take the train, just know there is a bus stop that is slightly hidden that will take you to the city center then you will have to walk to the hotel. But, that is just...

Grand Hotel des Lles Borromees is a wonderfully elegant hotel set lakeside with beautiful grounds and gardens. My wife and I extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights - expensive, but well worth it. Everything was nice and food, pool and spa was amazing

We drove from Munich, Germany for a wedding to Lago Maggiore. Looking for hotels in Stresa, we found out that the prices where not very fair and quite expensive for something nice. Looking through hotels.com we found a brand new hotel which opened only in May 25th and seemed to be very modern and luxusrious with a great value. Be careful staying at the Regina Palace - you may be overwhelmed as there is style everywhere you look. Older building, not too large by modern standards, nice elegant rooms. Just beautiful downstairs areas. Large breakfast room with terrace overlooking the lawns and one main restaurant. Access to Spa and indoor pool included. Outdoor pool among the gardens. I recently spent 9 nights at this lovely hotel and was absolutely thrilled with the decision to do so. The room was smaller, which wasn't a huge deal given that it was really just to sleep and shower in with maybe some down time in between. Staff was very accommodating, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Stayed a week and it felt like home! Large pool, and gym. Which were clean and very usuable. There was a horse track across the street, but it was not loud and it did not dictract me from my sleep.
