We had a wonderful stay and the service really stood out.
From the moment we arrived, Fernando greeted us with a warm smile and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He made us feel genuinely welcome and took care of everything with care and attention.
A special mention also goes to Oscar and Alejandro at the bar “La Biblioteca.” They provided excellent service and prepared drinks of outstanding quality. Their friendliness and professionalism made our evenings even more enjoyable.

What a wonderful place! This chateau has been lovingly restored back to its former glory by the current owners with modern elements and artwork incorporated. We had one of the largest rooms in the house and could only marvel at the details the owners had thought of in the restoration. The room was extremely comfortable lacking nothing. It belonged to Pierre Laclède, founder of Saint Louis (Missouri). It has remained in the family ever since.
Excellent (continental) breakfast included in the very low price.
The village of Bedous is charming and there are at least three quite decent restaurants.

Bruno and Chantal were consummate hosts. I loved my room with its view of the garden, a decor accented with vintage radios and alarm clocks, a spacious modern bathroom and adjacent WC. A practical command of French is helpful, as the coversations surrounding breakfast, cocktail ( choice of aperitif, beer and wine) and dinner (not included, but highly recommended as Chantal is an excellent cook. Be sure to request some of her Basque specialties. Everything is homemade.
