"Our room was clean. Had a coffee pot, fridge, microwave. Ac worked great. The office ladies were so sweet and helpful. There are some walking distance fast food restaurants. there was good water pressure in sink and shower. Toilet flushed slow."

"House was plenty big enough for two couples. We had plenty if parking to Park 2 full sized trucks with trailers. Didn't run out of hot water for showers. Nice big front porch to have morning coffee. The only downside was the narrow road we took to arrive at the house but that was to be expected with where the location was."

"This is our second time staying with Kim! We will never book anywhere else!!! She is absolutely wonderful, the home is as cute as a button! You’re close to everything in the area. (Please research where you are! This is the mountains not a metro!) We saw two baby bears, several deer and a million beautiful views. As a dog friendly property, you would never know!! It’s immaculate! This home is clean, this yard is clean, if you come KEEP IT THAT WAY!!! The rest of us who stay here love Kim, her legacy and her efforts to support local animals in shelters. We look after it like it’s ours too. It’s hard to have pet friendly spaces for our furkids, so when I find them like this, I always want to stress OUR job as renters to look after our pets! The locals are the sweetest! I was gifted some delicious maters this week!!! Be kind and culturally competent when you come. Life is slower here and folks aren’t in city mode."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property and can’t recommend it highly enough! My husband and I were visiting family and this space was the perfect place for us and our pups. The place itself was beautifully and tastefully decorated, spotless, and stocked with thoughtful extras we didn’t expect like razors, deodorant and a variety of snacks. Our host Melody was incredibly warm and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.Our dogs had the time of their lives in the fully fenced in backyard, which made this trip so much easier and relaxing for all of us.The location is fantastic, just minutes from the downtown area, in a great neighborhood, with gorgeous mountain views all around and state parks / overlooks just a short drive away. Whether you’re coming for the outdoors or visiting family nearby, this is the perfect home base. We’ll definitely be back!"

"What a unique experience getting to stay at this old country store. I admire the owner's desire to preserve a part of history. The property was exceptionally clean, well-supplied and I had a wonderful stay. If I need overnight accommodations in the area, I'll definitely try to stay here again."
