Very well located near downtown, you can walk everywhere. A bit noisy due to the bar staying open late after midnight otherwise great value proposition.

Aurilean greeted us warmly and was clear about directions and most helpful and kind as were other desk clerks. Our room was spotless, quiet, a/c, nice flat screen and easy location from train station.

The room was well equipped and clean. Service attentive and polite. Artwork, tapestries and chapel were enchanting.

Good value

Pleasantly surprised with the staff at this hotel. They were all friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was the best. The rooms were clean, breakfast was extensive for a Holiday Inn. The location was convenient to all Lille has to offer. Would definitely consider this hotel again!

The room was spacious and clean. The toilet was separate from the bath and shower which was both convenient and a bit odd, as the toilet area/room was built like those on a cruise ship and it was just unsettling. The bathtub was deep and the water temperature was perfect.

Hotel Carlton is an absolute must when visiting Lille. We received such a warm welcome from Frank, whose knowledge of the city and recommendations for local spots made our stay even better. The hotel itself is beautiful and full of history. We loved learning about the famous guests who have stayed over the years, including Paul McCartney. No-frills business traveler's hotel at a very good price. Comfortable bed, large-ish bathroom, and quiet. Very convenient to Catholic University Lille, and public transit is nearby. Friendly, helpful staff, and free coffee machine.

Great staff, location, and breakfast.

Excellent facilities and walking distance to the Braderie but in the quiet part of town. Conveniently located near parking garage where they have a special rate. Very helpful front desk staff especially the morning shift gentleman who would patiently answer our million questions and helped guide us where to go. Highly recommended! Very impressive and colorful lobby too!

The room is modern and spotless! The front desk staff were super nice and helpful! We enjoyed our stay very much and stay here again in the future for sure!

Nice and clean

No flat sheet on the bed, just a comforter and it was too hot to use it. I had to request a flat sheet which was porvided. The carpet in the hall way full of stains, need to be changed.
