"The breakfast, staff and downstairs communal areas were very good. However, bearing in mind the price for overnight stays we found the room and room facilities were far below average for this class/cost of hotel. The room had a harbour view which was excellent but this said the actual room and facilities felt very 'tired', in need of an update and lacking certain facilities that other hotels in this price range would normally have. No walk-in shower which meant using the shower in the bath which...

"Have stayed at here a few times. Good location and if you want to use public transport, there's a bus stop right outside. You don't need to venture very far for a good meal (downstairs!) and breakfast served is made to order. This is our go to place to stay for convenience for access to beach, buses to Swanage and nice walks!"

"Really well situated for the Poole Harbour area. The quay is about a one minute walk and there are many bars and restaurants with a 5 minute walk. The hotel itself is in a charming old property and has a lovely outdoor terrace area for eats and drinks"

"The room was cleanish, the carpet looked suspect lots of marks and stains and bits on the carpet you could feel under foot. The bathroom was your saviour, beautiful. I feel the room didn’t quite match up to the quality of the bathroom. Also the cooked breakfast could be improved on, the bacon would be made much better fried and not done in the oven…. This is coming from a chefs eye, as that’s what you eat with first…."

"The room was very warm & I asked if any fans were provided. I was told they don’t due to being stolen previously. This made the night very uncomfortable. Maybe offer fans with a deposit to cover costs will be helpful."
