"Cheap ($19) and close to the airport! The owner is very friendly and helpful! She cooked up a great breakfast of eggs, rolls, and coffee/tea. The neighborhood is older and rundown. However, the residents are just normal people---women sweeping the sidewalk in the morning, children walking to school, lady selling food at a stand, taxi driver polishing his car, etc. I felt it was a good introduction to the Peruvian culture and am happy we stayed there!"

The made-to-order breakfast (included in your stay) is so delicious. Within walking distance to many attractions & restaurants. I truly cannot say more good things about the staff—they pride themselves on hospitality & go above & beyond. "

"The room itself was very cute. The bathrooms don’t live up to the standard of everything else but they are in decent conditions and work well. Otherwise is was very comfortable. I would say the best thing was the host. The nicest host I have ever had! Very personable too. He even invited my taxi driver to airport in for coffee while he waited for us and was insisting. "All of the small hotels near the airport are in a low income, rough area, because the airport is. ha. This hotel is low budget yes, but clean, with a shuttle for 20 usd roundtrip. Very nice staff."

"Host was very very friendly. She went out of the way to come with me at mid night to get dinner for our family. Also my family member was unwell. She accompanied me to the doctor and ensured we get proper care. She also provided good breakfast. Very safe and friendly place. Room may not be up to the standards but other conveniences in new country provided by host out weighs it. "

"Martin was a wonderful host. He arranged for a taxi to and from the airport for me and was awake and responding to messages when I arrived at 1am. The hotel itself is nothing fancy but very clean and comfortable. Martin had tea and cake for me when I arrived and cooked me breakfast in the morning. I felt very safe staying with Martin as a solo female traveler! "

"I've got little trouble bringing guest to my room so it is advised to heck with the hotel before if it is permitted. Make sure to request a lower floor because the higher up the less pressure the shower has, I was in the 7th floor and it was dripping from the shower. "
