"This is a beautiful historic hotel! The staff start to finish could not have been more accommodating. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Lots of shopping and dining within walking distance, and so conveniently located adjacent to the Berea College. Highly recommend this beautiful property!"

"DO NOT STAY HERE! I was charged an extra hundo AFTER THE FACT for a pet fee even though I disclosed at check in that my service animal was with me. I filled out the service animal slip, confirmed with the clerk that there would be NO additional fees and confirmed the original charge of the room. I find out 3 days later that I was charged without my consent for a "pet". I have been reaching out for over a week now to get a hold of the manager and he IS NEVER THERE. DO Not STAY HERE"

"Liked the simplicity and being able to stay in a historical setting. Loved the modern bathroom!"

"Older hotel, but generally clean. Shower was hot and good. Parking was good, right in front of the door. Price was good for what it was."

"got two rooms. Checkin was fine. Room 1 was dirty including animal hair on bedspread AND on sheets all over. Bathroom floor was filthy. Room 2 - TV remote had to be reprogrammed, and then when TV was on, all lights in the room flickered, including bathroom lights. When TV was off, lights stopped flickering. Overall was a horrible experience except staff was nice. Left the hotel immediately, and still having trouble getting management to refund our room fees, even though we we only there for 30 minutes."

"Staff was wonderful, breakfast was well stocked, property was very clean, building itself was a disappointment. Walls very thin, no quiet hours, air conditioning needed maintenance. Just a loud building where you heard everything in and around your room."
