"Great little getaway cabin. Some hiking trails in the area were still closed, but the hosts gave excellent alternatives. Loved being able to bring our dogs. We all had a great time and would definitely stay here again. The weather was cool and the hot tub was great! Thank you guys for having such a clean cabin and providing all the necessities to enjoy our stay."

"This cabin was a great place to celebrate a quiet anniversary. The cabin was so cozy, quiet, and secluded, and was very nicely decorated and well stocked. There was nice bedroom and bath choices with plenty of towels, soaps, etc. The kitchen has a great set of appliances, and the Starlink internet WiFi was solid and speedy throughout the cabin. The large TV worked well, and the owner even provided an already-connected HDMI extension pigtail for use with your own laptop/phone/streamer/etc. Just make sure to bring along the appropriate cable to connect your device to the pigtail.The private hot tub on the deck was comfy for two and worked great. It was a bit windy/chilly during our stay, but the deck had nice views, and table/seating.The location is super if you wanna hike to Linville Falls or the gorge, with trailheads only a few miles away. Communication with the owner was phenomenal.Overall, a super experience!Hopefully we'll be back sometime."

"The property was nice. Large space with lots of rooms and nice mountain views. Very private. It was in a gated community which was a nice bonus.Although the house was clean, the throw rugs and carpet were not. All of the throw rugs in the kitchen had bad stains on them and did not appear to be fresh. The carpet in the main living area was also in need of a deep clean. So even though the house was very clean except for these items, these items left you feeling like the house was not clean."

"A friend and I needed a weekend of quiet, respite, and rejuvenation, and that's just what we got! Sitting on top of a mountain, the house was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with lots of spaces to inhabit. Ditto the patio and grounds so each of us were able to enjoy much needed "me time" surrounded by dwarf iris, creeping phlox, pink azaleas, and flame azaleas, which drew dozens of butterflies! Towels, flannel sheets, and duvets were soft and high quality. As people who value sustainability, we were very pleased to see that personal care and cleaning products were without harsh chemicals. The breakfast was outstanding—croissants, cheese, maple yogurt, berries, and—best of all—fresh eggs from the "girls" who have their own spacious and comfortable world: three houses, shade trees, and their very own pond. : )Unfortunately we did not meet our hosts in person, but Tanya's communications were warm and timely, and provided the information we needed for the kind of stay that we wanted. We want to shout out a BIG THANKS to Tanya! We were delighted with every aspect of our stay!"

"Plates, cooking supplies, and one bed were not clean. It obvious the dirty bed was not washed as it had crumbs and dirt in it from a previous occupant. Dishes were still wet and were not fully cleaned. The two levels were only accessible from the outside. Outdoor lighting didn’t work and we had no hot water for half our stay"

"A great place to stay on the east side of the Linville Gorge that’s located in the best hiking in the state. We loved the cabin and it was just what we needed for our hiking and we plan on coming back."
