"We had a great welcome at reception and a very clean and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. The pool was clean, towels and toiletries were supplied. The hotel was set in lovely goods and was in walking distance of Windermere town."

"Lovely traditional B&B very close to the centre of Ambleside. The room was clean, warm and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable! Joanna was a great host and I felt very welcome and safe as a solo guest. The breakfast room was charming and I enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast on offer. The only minor negatives were the shower and the lack of hygiene bags in the bathroom. I also struggled to access the apps on the smart TV. Overall it's an excellent place to stay and I would book again if I were visiting the area. "
