10/10 Excellent

"We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We had bed & breakfast and the breakfasts had a great choice anthe the cooked breakfast was cooked perfectly for us. The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff really helpful. My husband has a disability and is a blue badge holder, walking with sticks. We were very disappointed that the disabled parking was always full being used by obviously abled bodied people. This was because the signage on the two places is very small and very easily missed. This needs to be changed asap as if, a guest was in a wheelchair it would be impossible to ride over the stones from the main or overflow car park. My husband found it difficult to walk from the other car parks with his sticks."

"The junior suite (Marquises) that we stayed in was fabulous. It was spacious and very elegantly appointed. It would not be suitable for anyone with a mobility issue as there were 4 very steep stairs to the bathroom. The bathroom itself was very large and clean. As this is a grade 2* hotel be aware that there is no elevator and no air conditioning. They provide fans and with windows open it was very pleasant. The breakfast was good. Dinner was good and considerably better value than the afternoon tea (which we would not recommend as it lacked refinement in delivery, presentation and experience). Overall a good stay on the outskirts of Cardiff with beautiful views over the city."

"We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The room was spacious and spotless with the most incredible views out of the window. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating (we were coming down for a wedding and needed an early check in and taxi sorting). We had one of best breakfasts ever, it was truly delicious. We loved it so much we are looking for reasons to come down again and stay."

"We had a lovely time. Very quiet rural setting. Good but "gnarly" uphill dog walk from the door on a footpath. The road was narrow winding with no pavement so you needed to go by car to go anywhere else.We could have done with some written instructions for some of the appliances (which were all very good) but Helen could not have been more helpful. Bringing us fresh eggs from their hens and ducks was really nice and made us feel welcome. We were also provided with milk, butter, bread and baconThere was a good sized area for the dog to run off-lead safely.We enjoyed meeting the three Springers too"
