Food on offer was great with good varied menu and good portions. All the staff make the Winnstay a great experience and i highly recommend this accomodation ."

"Property is well located for a jumping off point anywhere in the Lake District. We had a two bedroom for my wife, my son, and with a parking spot right in front of the door. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was plenty to get you going. The you lady working the desk/restaurant/bar is a joy."

"Lovely hotel with excellent staff. Room was a little tired, but we did have a great outdoor space, being on the ground floor, although laundry next to the bedroom wasn't ideal when they delivered in the morning. Convenient for the town, and the hotel bar/bistro was a great space."
