"The hotel is in need of refurbishment to say the least the bar area was disgusting seats broken only bottles as pumps not working and dirty glasses infact the hotel should be condemned. The only saving grace was the staff and the breakfast the staff were polite,friendly and helpful especially Annie who made breakfast service a pleasure. Disappointing that hotels.com have this on there web site as im sure if they sent an inspector they would not recommend this hotel I for one will not be...

"The location of the property is excellent just tucked off the royal mile.I had asked for a quiet room and did indeed get one.Rooms are quirky as in line with Virgin style but comfortable and clean.Staff were all friendly and breakfast was very nice."
